The 17th China International Optoelectronics Expo (CIOE2015) successfully concluded on September 3rd at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition has been held since 1999, focusing on internationalization, specialization, and gathering upstream, midstream, and downstream enterprises, professional media, and audiences in the optoelectronic ecosystem. It focuses on industry-leading technology and cutting-edge market information, and has gradually developed into an internationally renowned brand optoelectronic exhibition.

Visitors: 41223 professional visitors, totaling 57196, entered the exhibition during the four-day period. Among them, 6513 overseas visitors came from 62 countries, accounting for 15.8%

The Optoelectronics Global Conference 2015, held from August 29th to 31st, featured a total of 178 presentations;

On the morning of August 31st, 2015, at the Summit Forum on Optoelectronic Industry Development, four guests delivered speeches and five keynote speeches, including three presentations by academicians;

2015 Optical Communication Technology and Development Forum, from the afternoon of August 31st to September 2nd, with a total of 55 presentations in six sub sessions;

The 2nd International Symposium on Modern Optical Manufacturing Engineering and Science, from the afternoon of August 31st to September 2nd, with a total of 37 presentations in five sub sessions;

The 2015 International Sapphire Market and Technology Forum, from August 31st to September 1st, consisted of 19 presentations from six major branches, with 215 attendees;

2015 Machine Vision Innovation Technology and Application Seminar, on the morning of September 1st, with a total of 6 presentations;

2015 Infrared Light Source Innovation Technology and Application Seminar, September 2nd, with a total of 9 presentations;

The 2015 Smart City Industry Development Strategy Summit Forum featured 96 presentations from 15 sub sessions;

There were a total of 53 special press conferences on new technologies and products in various professional fields, including 3 on LED, 13 on precision optics, 9 on optical communication and laser infrared, and 28 on smart cities
